We are a green company.I only build furniture out of dead dry trees. This makes the type of wood we use a very wide range. We have,at times, pine, oak, holly and various other species.

Our Rustic log beds come in many different styles and sizes  from king log bed to full log bed,standard size post bed to log canopy bed designs.

The limit is your imagination.

Raw materials are handpicked for each project starting in the woods.The logs used to make each bed  are hand selected and matched in the woods by the craftsman for the color, sizes and shapes that are needed to complete the design and style of the log bed that is being created.

The bark of the log is peeled to reveal the woods natural character.Hand peeling helps preserve the naturally dried beautiful grain, rustic knots and unique color variations.
We use time tested mortise and tenon construction throughout for solid furniture construction. All tenons are hand created not machined with tenon cutters.

After the creation of the piece of art the logs are then polished to a smooth luxurious feel.
The standard finish is 2 coats of hand brushed polyurethane, but all beds can be stained or left unfinished.

Start with a Headboard and Foot board. What size bed?

 What size of logs? Thick or thin?

How many spindles do you want?   3,5,7?

What side rails would you like?

1.Round rails with mortised slats.

2.Flat pine face with metal side rails will allow a bed spread to fall toward the floor and the use of dust ruffles.

  3.Metal frame and round rails are available for the use of dust ruffles also.

All beds are individually hand crafted.

Each bed is given a hand brushed two coat finish of polyurethane other finishes are available.
