Well… I have been working on getting a new job for a while now and it finally came through! I am going to be building for Eagle Sky Christian Camps of the Ozarks. I will be building all of the handcrafted structures for the camp. I am looking forward to starting a large project especially since it is for a Christian organization. If I help children find about Christianity and show them what can be with a virtuous life,it will be worth a lifetime of work. My family and I are so happy! If anyone still needs furniture contact me through the web site. It may take me a little while to produce it but it will still be the same quality that I have always produced. As I get projects going I will be showing the work on the website. Talk to ya all soon.

Sandy and I went to the Long Branch Community Open house this weekend Oct24 and 25. We went to see the properties and get some finished pictures of the log structures that I built for them. We had a great time.The Staff was friendly and the homeowners were wonderful. We fell in love with the properties there. Okay the stuff I built looked wonderful also. I know that is like patting myself on the back BUT they all loved them too. Okay here are some pictures.

Okay,I will have more but right now I have to get going. I am going to be standing a flag line in respect for a soldier that lost his life. If anyone is interested the Patriot Guard Riders Group is open to all even if you are not a Veteran.They welcome all to stand in respect. Here is the link;

Until next time,Bye,

Good Morning,
I have been looking around for a job building handcrafted log homes,damn the market is down these days. Although I got a return call this last week for a Christian children s camp that is getting ready to start on a big project on 5000 acres in Missouri. I am sure looking forward to possibly building some structures. There is nothing like the sound of chainsaws in the morning. Working for the betterment of the lives of christian children is also a big draw. There was also a call from a company in Vermont but wow it sure is cold up there in the winter.Don’t get me wrong I sure don’t mind the cold and snow,I miss snowy mornings and the peaceful feeling I get seeing a blanket of snow covering everything. We have only had one day of snow in the last 4 years here.Well, It is time to get a move on I am going to Tennessee this weekend to take pictures of some of the stuff I built for a Log home community. The pictures should be great with the leaves turning for the fall. I will post them here and on my flickr account, here is a link in case you want to look at some more of my stuff.

Not going to work for the rest of the weekend. Yeehaw! One of our kids is getting married this weekend. Got to get ready for it. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend as much as I will. Going to try to take the motorcycle but it might rain on the outer banks. Maybe with good thoughts? Hope…hope!
Update: The wedding went great. They got married on the beach,it did rain but it cleared out for the wedding. Here is a photo.

I know..shirts un-tucked? It is want she wanted and all married men know “Don’t argue”. What a beautiful ceremony. I wish them a long and happy life together.
Till next time,
Daniel
To all the people that came by,Thanks for the support! I am excited to keep making the furniture for everyone. Your accolades were exciting and appreciated. I am not going to be showing anywhere for awhile. At least for the next two weekends. Our son is getting married on Oct.11th on the beach in the Outer Banks in NC. The next week end I get to take my wife to Tennessee for her Birthday and to the Long Branch community to take pictures of the structures I built for them and visit the Falls Creek State Park. I will post pictures as soon as I get back. Once again thanks everyone!
